Join us for our inaugural event of our new series, 3GNY Stories Live: WEDU Wednesdays. Grandchildren of Holocaust survivors will share their family stories on a virtual platform. You'll also learn more about our educational initiative, WEDU, which trains 3Gs to learn and share their family stories in school classrooms.

We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Brooks, 3GNY's founder and grandchild of four Holocaust survivors, as our first speaker in the series. Daniel will share the story of how his grandmother escaped the Warsaw Ghetto and survived on the run and in hiding throughout the war.

3GNY Stories Live: WEDU Wednesdays will take place every other Wednesday at 8:00 pm ET. Mark your calendars and be on the lookout for details for our future programs on July 22, August 5, and August 19.

Learn more about 3GNY and WEDU.

Daniel Brooks
Founder of 3GNY

Daniel Brooks, a grandson of four Holocaust survivors, grew up feeling a strong connection to his family’s history and wanted to explore what this connection meant. In 2005, he attended a 2G meeting where he met other 3Gs who were also seeking a community of their own. It was here that Daniel came up with the idea to start 3GNY. He was director of the organization for a decade, leading its growth and community impact.

Daniel was born and raised in Queens, NY. He has a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Boston University and is currently a human resources manager at a law firm in Manhattan. Aside from his 3G activism, he has gained extensive experience as an Israel advocate. He has organized demonstrations, spoken on panels, written for numerous pro-Israel organizations and is a frequent op-ed contributor to the Times of Israel
