The world promised her never again…

How will you stand up to hate?

Make this promise a part of your every day life. It can be as simple as honoring your own family, performing an act of kindness for a friend, or speaking up for a stranger. You can also…

  • Bear witness by watching Alison and other 3GNY volunteers share their families’ stories of survival. Then help preserve their legacy by sharing the story with someone else.

  • Invite a speaker from 3GNY’s WEDU program to share their family’s Holocaust story with your school, workplace, community group, or place of worship.

  • Attend an upcoming 3GNY community event to learn more about the Holocaust and connect with other descendants of survivors.

  • Donate to 3GNY to support our Holocaust education and help us keep our program free for schools.

what will you do today?

about 3gny

3GNY is an educational non-profit organization founded by grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. As a living link, we preserve the legacies and lessons of the Holocaust. Our mission is to educate diverse communities about the perils of intolerance and to provide a supportive forum for the descendants of survivors.

3GNY engages grandchildren of Holocaust survivors (“3Gs”) to share their family stories in schools and community settings through our unique educational program, WEDU (We Educate). Our trained WEDU volunteers have brought personal family testimony to over 50,000 students, teachers, parents, and community members throughout New York City, New York State, and beyond. Each presentation helps listeners think critically about their individual and collective roles in standing up to antisemitism and hatred. By sharing our grandparents’ stories and how they continue to impact us, we ensure that the enduring lessons of the Holocaust continue to resonate and hold relevance for students today. 3GNY is an affiliate of Living Links, a new organization formed in partnership with the USC Shoah Foundation. Living Links’ vision is to engage 3Gs all over the United States to share their grandparents’ stories in classrooms, campuses, and organizations to counter all forms of hate.
